CEBU CITY, Philippines — A 58-year-old man was crossing the road alongside Englis and V. Rama Avenue in Cebu Metropolis on early Friday morning, July 26, when he was hit by a dashing sport utility car (SUV).

The fatality was recognized as Procolito Alquizalas, 58, from Barangay Canduga, Barili city in southwestern Cebu.
