TACLOBAN CITY – An alleged prime chief of the New Folks’s Military (NPA) was killed in a conflict with authorities forces within the hinterlands of Barangay Osmeña in Basic MacArthur, Jap Samar, on Thursday.
The 78th Infantry Battalion (IB), below the operational management of the 802nd Infantry Brigade, recognized the slain insurgent as Joel Guarino, alias Duran, the squad chief of Squad 2 of the lately dismantled Apoy Platoon.
